Linda Ann Aiello
December 19, 1952 – June 9, 2021
Linda Aiello, 68, of Orlando, FL went into eternal rest on June 9, 2021.
She was born in Pompton Lakes NJ on December 19, 1952 to Roman and Marie Szymansky. In 1973, Linda married her sweetheart, John J Aiello. They spent 50 years as a team, building a family, running multiple successful businesses, managing a building and going on adventures including many weekends on their boat in Atlantic City, NJ. Their hard work and determination allowed them an early retirement in which they moved from NJ to FL and spent the past 13 years in her happy place, Mickey Mouse’s house.
Linda was a tenacious and hard-working go-getter. She put everyone before herself. Even in the most challenging of times, Linda’s concern for others shined through. She was strong, fun-loving, meticulously organized and an amazing cook. In 2014, she became a Nana, her most cherished role. She enjoyed sleepovers with her grandson, giving him endless “raspberries,” playful pool days, and cheering the loudest at his baseball games. She epitomized what it meant to be the #1 fan. We know she now has the best seat in the house for every future game.
Linda is survived by her spouse, John J Aiello, her children, Steve & Laura Aiello of FL, John J Aiello Jr of California, Kimberly Aiello of NJ, her grandson, Dominic Aiello, her siblings, Karen Dressler of NJ, Roman Szymansky (JoAnne) of FL, Joseph Szymansky (Nancy) of NJ. She was also cherished by her nieces, nephews and many treasured friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Roman & Marie Szymansky and her brothers-in-law, Scott Dressler and Alfred Sylvestri.
Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life on June 15, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery from 12 – 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable donation in her name to Linda’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html

John and family,
We are all so saddened to hear the news about Linda. I met Linda as my neighbor on Dawes Highway and my schoolmate in grammar school. We all grew up in Pompton Lakes until Linda moved away.
After high school we reconnected and both our families grew up in the printing business.
We look back fondly of all the adventures our families shared from parties, cars, dinners, vacations and especially Florida where you eventually called your home.
Linda was truly made for you and took extra extra care of John. Anyone who really knew Lynn understood she was really the boss.
We send all of our love to the Aiello family and share in the loss of this very special lady. God has gained a special angel.
Your very special friends

I met Linda in my gym. She automatically treated me like a daughter, gave me unconditional love. She once spotted bruises all down my legs and took me aside. I immediately told her of the abuse I was suffering in a violent marriage. She gave me love and courage to get out and gave me and my children direction with love and hope. You are now an angel sweet Linda. May you fly high and rest in the lords arms. Amen 🙏🏽 😢💔

John, Steve, Laura, and Dominic,
Today it is difficult to see beyond the pain of this loss. But the Love and cherished memories you have shared will give you comfort tomorrow and all the days that follow.
Linda's life, touched so many other lives, in her passing she has made us all less whole. I know there are no words that can console you, but take solace in knowing that your grief is shared by many.
