Loretta Mae Mc Givern

McGivern, Loretta M., 79 of Orlando, FL passed away on April 2, 2015. She was born in Greensboro PA on October 20,1935 to Isaac and Julia Rumble. She graduated from Mapletown High School class of 1953 and the Lasalle College. Upon graduation she went to work for the US Air Force where she was the youngest GS6. On Jan 4, 1958 she married John McGivern of Connellsville PA.Upon moving to Orlando in 1971, she worked as an Executive Secretary for John Sexton and Company for 20 years and 15 years at Vision Business Products. They have 4 children, Mary Collen (Dan) Clayton of Ocala, John A. McGivern, Jr. of Clermont, Kathleen Soliday of Leesburg and Jean Demianenko of Orlando, 9 grandchildren, JR McGivern of Sorrento, Shannon (Jon) Niedenthal of Orlando, Patrick (Aleks) of Orlando, Casey Soliday of Leesburg, Ryan Clayton of Orlando, Erin (Jared) Patten of Savannah, GA, Alex Demianenko, Jr. of Orlando, Tina (Lenie) Farr of Macomb, MI and John (Jen) Demianenko of Galloway, OH, 7 great-grandchildren, Sophie, Lenie, Alexis and Rachal Farr of Macomb, MI, Ella & Noelle Demianenko of Galloway, OH, and Luke Clayton of Orlando. She was preceded in death by her husband John A. McGivern, parents Isaac and Julia Rumble and sister Mary Jo Rumble. She is survived by her sister Shelly (Clay) Morgan of Gainesville, all her children and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. John Vianney parish where she was a Eucharist Minister, Bereavement Minister, Lector, member of the Women’s Council and St. Vincent DePaul Society. Viewing will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 8, from 5 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on April 9 at 10:00 am At St. John Vianney Catholic Church with internment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
