Lucille Baptiste Stroy, age 93, of Clermont, Florida passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. She was born in Trinidad on February 7, 1932. She graduated from Fatima Catholic School and received a bachelor's degree from Maryland University.
She was married to James Stroy. Lucille was a member of Sacred Heart Jesus, International, New Bethal Baptist Church and St. Gabriel Spiritual and was an Ordained Pastor of a church. She also had a passion for helping the children in need and people less fortunate.
She is survived by her children, Marilyn Grant, Sherry Raymond Chales, Rhonda Louis, Beverly Landrum, Fabiola Deverteuil, Claude Charles, Terry Charles, Claudett Charles, and Claudia Scott; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A visitation for Lucille will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
