

Lydia S. Lewis, 92, of Orlando, Florida passed away on July 20, 2014 in Clermont, Florida. She was born on November 27, 1921 in Mindanao, Philippines to the late Potenciano and Sergia Santos. Lydia, who was affectionately called "Mom" by many, manufactured clothing for Macy's in New York City in her younger years and later was a jewelry maker. She was an avid reader of many different novels that included romance, politics and especially biographies about Princess Diana, Jackie Kennedy and the Royal Family. Lydia read the newspaper every day and enjoyed playing the lotto along with gambling. She received much joy by eating out and shopping. Lydia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Whiteford, daughter, Rachel Monopoli and grandson, Matthew Mohel. Survivors include her son, Whiteford; daughters, Anne Tsiokos and Daisy Mohel; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. There will be a private family memorial service for Lydia followed by interment with her beloved husband at Long Island National Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Gotha, FL.
