Mahendra graduated from KC College in Mumbai, India and received accounting.
He married Gira on April 24, 1970.
Mahendra had a career in Finance for Smith Barney and Harris Upham and Depository Trust Company combined over 40 years.
He was a member of Gujatatri Samaj of New York, Trustee of Braham Samaj of New York. He had a passion for reading newspapers, magazines and Traveling.
Mahendra is survived by his loving wife, Gira; children, Tejal N Patel and her husband, Niral C. Patel and Nirar M. Jamindar and his wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Kaylan, Jaiden, Aubrey, Aspyn, and Simba
