Manuel Pedraza, age 85, passed on September 8, 2026, with his family by his side. Born on October 13, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas, he was the first son of Rosa and Manuel Senior Pedraza. His brother, Antonio Pedraza still resides in San Antonio and his sister Diana Araiza lives in Katy, Texas.
Manuel proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for four years.and then switched his career to the U.S. Army. serving 20 years. He served overseas working in NATO for several years. After returning home, he built another 20 year career in Civil Service working for NASA and the Cuba Broadcasting Company. Manuel never missed and opportunity to help a neighbor fix a broken fence, fix a tire, or just lend a helping hand where needed. He proudly served as the project manager for his entire subdivision. He loved working in his yard and enjoyed music especially "oldies" and country music, but his real passion was ballroom dancing.
Manuel is survived by his wife of 65 years Lina Pedraza, 3 sons, Michael Anthony Pedraza, David Leon Pedraza, and Joel Dean Pedraza; 5 grandchildren, Jonathan Pedraza, Nicholas Pedraza, Jacob Pedraza, Kristen Seaver and Austin Pedraza, 4 great grandchildren, Anakin Pedraza, Cassian Pedraza, Kaia Pedraza and Maddox Ray.
Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on September 19, 2026, at 11:00 am.
A Funeral Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on September 19, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the services.
