Maria L. Chase, age 88, of Orlando, Florida, a beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and neighbor, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on October 24, 2026. Maria grew up in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of nineteen. She met her husband, Frank, on a blind date, in Miami. The two were married for 48 years before his passing in 2010. Her career centered on the aircraft industry, and she retired from Aircraft Service International in 1994. She and Frank moved to Orlando in 1999. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Jeff) King of Orlando, FL, and son Frank Chase, also of Orlando, FL, as well as two grandsons Matthew(Mekenna) and Michael King, and one great-grandson, Kane King. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Services are to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 11am-12pm at Holy Family Catholic Church (Holy Hearts Chapel), 5125 S. Apopka Vineland Rd., Orlando, FL 32819. Internment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
