Maria Elena Lewis of Orlando, Florida passed away on December 21, 2016. She was born in Guantanamo City, Cuba to the late Jose Santana and Elena Martinez. Maria Elena spent her time in Cuba as a Kindergarten teacher and also teaching piano. She had a love for playing piano, listening to salsa music, shopping, going to Epcot for the International Food and Wine Festival, and traveling to Las Vegas.
Maria Elena is survived by: her son, Harry Lewis; daughter, Barbara (Dan) Preslar; brother, Rafael Santana; grandson, Christopher Wyszynski; and her loving dog, Cosita.
A celebration of Maria Elena’s life will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 with a visitation at 10:30am and a service to follow at 11:00am.
