Marian “Dutzie” (McIntyre) Tito, 92, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2020 at Serenades of Sonata in Longwood, Florida. She was born on December 13, 1927 in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late James Palmer and Margaret (Hart) McIntyre. Dutzie, as she was known by her friends and family, was an incredible wife and mother who instilled many valuable life lessons. She was a role model for being direct, honest, and truthful. She especially loved nature, her dogs, golf, tennis and bridge, while always stressing good sportsmanship.
Along with her parents, Dutzie was preceded in death by her sisters Bernadine, Marie and LaVerne, along with her husband of over 65 years Joseph R. Tito. She is survived by her four children: Robert Tito and his wife Barbara of Bradenton, FL, Barbara Ann (Tito) McIntyre and her husband Jimmy Dean Curtis of Sarasota, FL, Dorothy (Tito) Hammett and her husband Edward of Denver, CO and Bradenton, FL and Joseph Tito Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Lake Mary, FL. She is also survived by three grandsons Justin, Robert and Timothy.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, January 8th at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, FL. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church (Daily Chapel) in Orlando, FL at 8:30 a.m. on January 9th. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to The Arthritis Foundation at www.arthritis.org/ways-to-give.
