She was born on October 12, 1934 in Eccles, West Virginia to the late William W. & Goldie Mae (Hopkins) Loveday.
Marjorie met her beloved husband, Billy Gene Miles, through her sister-in-law while they lived in different places. Instead of a blind date, he sent her a "blind postcard"... and, when they finally met at Ivey's Drugstore, it was love at first sight! They were married for 61 years and moved to Central Florida in 1975 after Billy retired from the Air Force. After residing in Pine Hills for nearly 20 years, they relocated to Montverde.
Marjorie spent her days as the Homemaker of a happy home, and was passionate about spending time with her grandchildren. She was a longtime active member of Ferndale Baptist where she taught Sunday School for many years.
She is survived by her dear Billy, daughter Debra Jean Parker (Doug), brother Allen Loveday, grandchildren Dawn Rhodes (Richard), Daniel Parker (Kimberly), David Parker (Melissa), Darcy Crisp (Matt), Drew Parker (Alexendra), Diana Parker and Dee Parker & 4 great grandchildren.
