Marjorie faithfully served her country in the United States Navy where she was a member of the softball team. Upon discharge, she worked as a Systems Maintenance Engineer for Range Generation Next. She was a member of the Florida Trail Association where she was active with performing maintenance on the trail. She was also an avid ultra runner participating in many road and trail runs and races, some over 100 miles. She participated in the annual Vol State Race, enjoyed skateboarding, motorcycles, hiking and camping. She was the proprietor of the Dancing Bear Farm and Discoteque where she spent many weekends farming long leaf pines, clearing land, building things, and enjoying nature. This was her happy place.
She is survived by her life partner, Janis Rossi; her Ride or Die, Jen Mollo; brothers, Don Pugh, Jackie and OkYim Pugh, and Timothy and Becky Pugh; nieces and nephews, James Pugh, Deborah Pugh, Don Pugh, Jr., Patricia Pugh-Holmes, David Pugh, Michael Pugh, John Pugh, Victoria Pugh-Horton, Justin Pugh, and Kasey Pugh, and great nieces and nephews, Amy Glisson, Sara Calvo, Chad Pugh, Don Pugh III, Tyler Brooks, Brandi Pugh, Nicolas Pugh, Austen Horton, Courtney Horton, Alyssa Pugh, and Bayleigh Holmes.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11 am with interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park. In addition to the funeral, there will be a celebration of life at her happy place, Dancing Bear Farm and Discoteque, 847 Panther Path Lane, Pierson, Florida at 11 am on Sunday, December 13, 2020.
