Marlene Mintz was a woman whose strength and will matched her zealousness for life. On October 7th, at 1:30 pm, that energy became too much for her body to contain any longer and she left behind her earthly tether surrounded by loved ones. Marlene is survived by her husband of 68 years Ralph Mintz, her daughters Celia Mani and Sherri Asadi, her 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Marlene was born July 25th, 1931 in Brooklyn New York to Michael Joseph and Anna Dowd. At the age of 18, she was fortunate enough to find something that most of us spend our entire lives searching for; her one true love. She met Ralph at Manhattan Beach and they spent nearly seven decades expressing that love through laughter, memories, and travelling the world. Marlene will continue to live in the hearts and minds of her family.
