She was married to Elijah J. Evans (Jimmy) on July 2, 1955.
Martha was a homemaker and a member of the Lady Bugs and had a passion for care giving.
She is survived by her children: Thomas C. Evans and Teresa Ann Evans Duffey (Terri); grandchildren, James Jordan King, Thomas Jordan Evans (Jordan) and Jonathan Victor Evans; and her siblings, Harry Couey and Lionel Couey.
Memorial service will be held at Macon Memorial Gardens at a later date.
