Martin D. Jackson, 79, of Montverde, Florida left this earth on January 30, 2014 after a long illness. He was born to Foy and Lucille Jackson in Opp, Alabama on November 15, 1934 and moved to Florida with his family in 1938. Martin was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and served his country during the Korean War. Martin was employed as a Power Lineman by the Orlando Utilities Commission and retired after 35 years of service. He leaves behind his wife Kathleen, after 59 years of marriage. He is also survived by sister Myrtle Nettles, son Ronald (Christy), daughter Tami Hannweber (Michael), granddaughters Jodi Miranda (Jorge), Michelle Holbrook (Scott), Rachel Jackson (fiancé Justin), Stacey Regar (Alex), Emily Jackson and grandson David Hannweber, as well as great granddaughters Haylee, Hannah and Leah Holbrook, Kaitlyn Miranda and Scarlett Regar, all of whom he loved dearly.
