

Mary B. Blake, 64, of Orlando, Florida passed away on December 9, 2013 at her home. Mary was born January 15, 1949 in Thomasville, Georgia to the late William "Bill" and Katherine "Kit" Bonfield. Mary was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, spending time both at Winter Park Memorial Hospital and Orlando Regional Medical Center. She was married to her husband, Curt Blake, for 29 years. Mary and Curt raised 2 wonderful children together, Jennifer and Timothy. Mary enjoyed baking and was known for baking mass amounts of delicious breads, cookies, and other treats at Christmas time. She loved Christmas and created her own Christmas Ornaments for the season. Mary also collected angels. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her and remembered by all the lives she touched with her own.
Mary was preceded in her passing by her parent.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis A. Blake of Orlando, FL; Daughter Jennifer Blake of Orlando, FL; Son Timothy Blake of Orlando, FL; Sisters Jean Goodwin of Bradenton, FL and Patricia Salappa of Cairo, GA; and her best friend and close neighbor, Debbie Mullins of Orlando, FL.
A Visitation for Mary will take place on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Orlando, FL from 12:00-12:45pm.
Funeral Mass will take place at 1:00pm at Good Shepherd.
