Mary Virginia Griffith, 84, of Winter Springs, Florida passed away on Monday November 18, 2013. Virginia as everyone knew her was born on July 19, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Christian and Margaret Andrews. Mrs. Griffith retired from the Salvation Army Rehabilitation Center as a bookkeeper. She was very active in the Salvation Army Church where she played the piano. Virginia also enjoyed gardening and making ceramics. She was preceded in death by her husband William Griffith. She is survived by her daughters; Karen (Bill) Mayes and Katherine (Wayne) West, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday November 21, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha.Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
