Mary Jane Torrez, 70, of Apopka, Florida passed away on Nov. 30, 2013. She was born on Feb. 7, 1943 in Tampa, Florida to the late James and Dovie Hinely. Mary Jane was a bookkeeper for Southern Truck Equipment Service, Inc. for 40 years. She is preceded in death by her sister by choice, Maureen Sapp. Mary Jane loved fishing, boating and the beach, but cruising was a big part of her life. In Mary Jane's young years, she played ameatur softball for 11 years for the Orlando Rebels. Survivors include her brother, Terry (Joann) Torrez and brothers by choice, Jerry (Carol) Sapp and Rodney Sapp. Funeral Service will be at 2 pm, Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Woodlawn Funeral Home with Visitation at 1 pm, followed by interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734. 407-293-1361.
