Mary Theresa Tomaszewski

Mary Theresa Tomaszewski, age 93 of Crystal River, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026. She was born on September 27, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. She moved to Orlando with her husband, Norman in 1958, where she lived for over 60 years.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas and John; daughters-in-law, Cherryl and Sandie; grandson, Paul; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Norman, parents, Rudolf and Johanna Markowsky; her brother, John; and sister, Catherine.

She worked at Good Shepherd Catholic School and Colonial High School in Orlando as an administration assistant, retiring in 1994. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A Graveside Service with committal will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on August 13, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
