BROOKS, MATTIE L., 95, of Orlando, FL died June 29, 2011. She was born on March 21, 1916 in Elba, AL. Mattie was a member of Killarney Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by he husband, Q.P. and son, James. Survivors include her daughter, Jane (Bill) Spring; sister, Myrtice Simpson; four grandchildren, Dale Brooks, Alan Spring, Jill McCallister and Misty Gatlin; six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Visitation will be 10-11 am, Tues., July 5, 2011 at Woodlawn Funeral Home followed by the service at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Comforter.
