Melissa Katrine Edwards, 46, of Winter Garden, passed away on December 25, 2020. Melissa was born to Henry and Faith Chimento on March 23, 1974 in Goldsboro, NC. Melissa graduated from Cutler Ridge High School (Miami) in 1992 and became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1994. She married Glen Austin Edwards on December 7, 1996 and is survived by her father; brother Daniel Chimento and her two children Austin Thomas Edwards (19) and Melanie Faith Edwards (15). Melissa loved her career as a pediatric nurse and was also a proud supporter of her husband who is on the force with the Ocoee Police Department. Melissa's love for 80's rock bands afforded her many travels with friends who shared the same love. She loved the beach where many of her most treasured memories were made alongside her family and closest loved ones. A graveside service will take place on Friday January 8, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha followed by a reception at the Ocoee Lakeshore Center, 125 North Lakeshore Drive.
