Melissa Gay Farrington

Melissa Farrington 58, born Melissa Gay Barrett in Atlanta GA on June 5, 1963 passed away peacefully on November 1, 2021 with her husband John M. Farrington by her side. She is survived by her loyal loving husband John M. Farrington, son Michael Justin Bramlett, daughter and son-in-law, Tasha and Jason Criss, 3 grandchildren Mackenzie Moffit, Ariel & Kate Bramblett and her fur-baby Sweetie Pie. Melissa is also survived by her Father Eddie Barrett, sister and brother in-law Joanie & Steve McCullough, sister Sherrie Barrett, sister and brother in-law Brenda & Randy Couch, and brother and sister in-law Eddie Jr. & Julie Barrett along with 28 nieces and nephews.

Melissa’s optimistic attitude and amazing fighting spirit kept her going for the last thirteen years in her fight against cancer. She will be missed greatly by all whose lives she touched.

The Celebration of Life for Melissa Farrington will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Woodlawn Funeral Home. 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734. The start will be 2 PM.

In lieu of flowers, she wanted donations to be given to Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando in her memory to help the animals.
