

MILDRED LOUISE WITTE GREGG, 96, a resident of Maitland, FL for the past 54 years went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 7, 2013. Born December 13, 1916 near Cumberland, IN, Mildred was the second of five children born to Herbert And Clara Witte. Mildred accepted the Lord at a young age and lived her whole life in obedience to Him. In addition to being a loving and devoted wife to Glenn William Gregg for 69 years, she was a selfless and loving mother to her our children: David Gregg (deceased), Mary Jo Gregg Quintana, artha Gregg Merritt and Deborah Gregg Rowland, four grandchildren added much happiness and joy to her life: Stephanie Quintana McMurray, Meredith Quintana, Garrett Binley and Adam Binley. In her later years she was blessed with 3 great-grandchildren: Ethan Binley, Chloe Binley and Grant McMurray. Even though Mildred worked at different times for the Best Universal Lock Co., Ben Franklin Stores and The American Heart Assoc., being a wife, mother and homemaker was her highest calling. She served the Lord in her local church teaching Sunday School to kindergarteners for 50 yrs., teaching Bible School and Child Evangelism and working for many years in Baptist Women’s Assocs. Mildred lived a life of tireless service to others. She lived her life as a true witness to the world of what a Christian life was meant to be. Other than the family listed previously, Mildred is survived by her sister, Gladys Witte Bennett, her sister-in-law, Marilyn Witte, brother-in-law Ivan Whiteside and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express extreme gratitude to Deborah and Tiffany Cox for the devoted and loving care they provided Mildred during the final years of her life and the helping hands around the house of Ronald Platt and for being with her as she took her final breath. Services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 1:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Maitland, 1950 Mohican Tr., Maitland, FL 32751.
