"If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven
And bring you home again"

Rest in Peace, my Teta

Tante Mounira, Um Charles,

I Wajiha write this note to declare to you, your spirit will remain here with us, seen through your great son Charles, and his brothers. You will always be loved and will never be forgotten for you have left behind great gentlemen.
I offer my condolences to your husband, uncle Michael, and to your sons, daughter in laws, and grand children.

You are the Heavenly type, your sacrifices, your love, your adoration, and your struggle towards the end. Please know that the angels keep count of every tear shed by sorrow; and they bring up to the ears of the spirits hovering in the heavens of the Infinite as a sign justified from our affections. We love you dearly.

Please know that you are amongst the angels for you are one of purity and endless greatness.

May God bless your soul. Farewell until we unite again.

With Deepest Sympathy to the Family.

My mother loved the writings of the poet Khalil Gibran. She and I often read his poems together, especially this one:
"I have passed a mountain peak and my soul is soaring in the firmament of complete and unbound freedom; I am far, far away, my companions, and the clouds are hiding the hills from my eyes. The valleys are becoming flooded with an ocean of silence, and the hands of oblivion are engulfing the roads and the houses; the prairies and fields are disappearing behind a white specter that looks like the spring cloud, yellow as the candlelight and red as the twilight.
The songs of the waves and the hymns of the streams are scattered, and the voices of the throngs reduced to silence; and I can hear naught but the music of eternity in exact harmony with the spirit's desires. I am cloaked in full whiteness; I am in comfort; I am in peace."

I Love you mom.

A Mother's love is always with her children. Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But please remember, that a mother's goodness, her caring, and her wisdom live on-like a legacy of love that will always surround you and us all. Tante Mounira will live on in our memories until eternity. We will never forget you.

Tante Mounira, You are a great mother, wife, grandmother, friend.

This world is not the same without you. We will miss you terribly, for our hearts ache and long to be with you, and to share in you presence. You have been an amazing person of love, joy, courage, and compassion in my life, and I am inspired by your courage.

With Deepest Sympathy I write this note.

We will never forget you...Love always,

My heart is aching but in my mind I know that you are in a much better place. You taught me humility and discipline, those are true qualities that I'm proud to say I got from you. You are my hero and my inspiration. I love you and I will miss you.

My grandmother is my hero. Through her example, I learned the true meaning of love, family, happiness, and faith. She showed us all what real courage is during her struggle. She blessed our family with her constant love, and I know she will continue to watch over us from Heaven. I Love You, Teta. Forever, and ever. I miss you so, so much.

I just want to thank God for the wonderful opportunity that he gave me in knowing Mounira. She was truly a blessing from heaven. Her laughter was un mistakeable, her smile was penetrating, her love was exuberant, her presence was graceful. I saw Christ in her. I will miss you, but I will see you again. Mounira you are now with the King !
