I am so saddened to of just heard about my dear friends passing. He was such a beautiful person. I met Nate at Score and he guided me and mentored me on my start up 5 years ago. I met Nate about 6 years ago. He assisted me with an unfair work issue. I  was introducted to him by a friend. While I never met Nate in person, he treated me as if he know me and was willing to assist me with my issue.  I kept in touch with him and always informed him that I was forever grateful for his help. You don't met people like him. I know where he is, because of the type of person he was.  To his family, thank you having such a willing husband, father, and grandfather! His willingness will NEVER be forgotten!

More Spring Break memories! The kids enjoyed an Easter Egg hunt and Nate was so happy watching them scramble to get the eggs. Being with his grandchildren was truly his joy…

Last year, we went to Easter Brunch together and the day was perfect! Nate and Mom bought huge Easter baskets for the kids and it was another warm and sunny day filled with family & fun ❤️

Nate & Mom came to visit in August 2021 and we all went to lunch in Annapolis. It was such a lovely day, but it was very hot. Nate noticed how hot the women were, and got us this table inside where we could cool off and enjoy our meal together. We lost my Uncle Marvis shown in this picture just 3 months later. This was such a happy day! 

We had so much fun Easter 2016 and Nate was beaming all day long surrounded by family and kids! 

Nate was our friend, brother, confidante, mentor and counselor. He was an amazing friend, father and husband. He always welcomed us with open arms. We'll miss your ready smile, quick wit, thoughtfulness and intelligence. Nate's passing leaves a hole in our lives and hearts. I hope to see Nate in the great beyond where we can enjoy some martinis and golf.

Thanks for sharing a part of your life with us Nate . We were so happy to meet our family at the 2016 Family reunion. Nate and his wife Barbara along with our families from different states made us so welcome ,I mean genuinely southern style welcome. I met Nate in Ivory Coast at the end of the Nineties. He was a lawyer with AT&T at the time and we were in partnership in the bid to buy the ivoirian national telephone company.
Since this time we stayed in touch and travelled together to The Gambia for another project and we met frequently in DC, Orlando and Paris in association with Karen Freeman who shared all this period with Nate and me.
So, when Karen informed me that Nate passed his way, I was devastated.
I offre condolences to his family and I pay tribute to Nate as one of the best person I ever met.

I was blessed to have met Nate and spent time with him, and his lovely wife Barbara. Nate had an illustrious spirit, and radiated kindness. I have fond memories of him that I will cherish, he will be missed by many! 

We knew Nate for some time and we always tried to get together with him and Barbara monthly for lunch. We always looked forward to these because of Nates ability to make these moments vary enjoyable. We will miss him.

It is so hard to part with a friend like Nate-One of the noblest of the Almighty’s creations – indomitable, irrepressible and irreplaceable. Our pain is deeper when we sense his absence from our mortal lives, and yet we know that our memories of Nate are everlasting.
Our peace comes in the knowledge that his Beacon will forever shine, and light the path of those he loves.

The world has lost a true gentleman and friend of small business.  

My connection to Nate was professional - through the National Entrepreneur Center - and I witnessed his generosity of spirit in my interactions with him at the events we hosted together (most recently in May 2022, pictured above) and the clients he served.  As impressive as was his grasp of contract and international law, even more remarkable was his ability to connect with clients and his patience in making legal complexities understandable to the layperson.  

What I will miss most, though, is how genuinely nice was Nate.  He was always even-tempered and generous with his time and wise counsel, and I knew that whenever we spoke, I would learn something.  

The world is very much a better place for having Nate in it, and I hope the mark that he left on so many lives - including my own - will be of comfort to his family during these difficult times.

Go with God, Nate.  Until we meet again in Heaven.
