Nizarali Karim Ismail

Nizarali Karim Ismail celebrated his last birthday on the day of his passing. He was born to Karim and Rehmat Ismail on November 18th, 1946, in Kalisizo, Uganda. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle and is survived by his wife, Mariam Ismail, sons Karim and Zahid Ismail, brothers Sadrudin, Umedali, and Sahidali Ismail, and sisters Roshan Hirani, Farida Jiwa, Zubeda and Jerina Ismail, and Azmina Allibhai.

Nizarali, also known to his friends and family as Nick, was known for his sense of humor, intellect, kindness, and generosity. He had a deep passion for gardening, billiards, volleyball, and harvesting peppers and tropical fruits native to Uganda. Nick loved social gatherings and connecting with friends and family. Nick’s legacy will be remembered for his sense of humor, which he brought to every moment of life.

A viewing and funeral service to honor Nizarali Karim Ismail will be held on Monday, November, 25th 9:30 am at Woodlawn Memorial & Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome.

The family expresses their gratitude to all who have supported them during this difficult time. Nizarali ‘Nick’ will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
