Patrick graduated high school here in Orlando in 2009 before studying at Union University and beginning his professional career. He was a successful leader in the hospitality industry, leading teams of people for various resorts across Florida. Patrick had a passion for travel and some of his favorite trips included Greece, Romania, England, Scotland, and Ireland. He loved the water and enjoyed traveling to Puerto Rico, as well as time outdoors in the springs of Florida and beaches of California. Patrick also had a passion for the arts and music, with a natural talent on the piano as a child and enjoying theatre as an adult. He loved all animals, particularly his rescue pup, Jeffrey. Most of all, Patrick was simply a passionate person with a wide-open heart, sensitive soul, and big personality. He had a quiet strength, but those that knew him knew he was fiercely funny, possessed a sharp wit, and was intensely smart; he could make any room laugh with a word or look. He was as compassionate as he was funny. He was brilliant with kids, whom he made laugh and who loved “Mr. Patrick” every week as a teacher in his childhood church. Patrick was also tender – he loved and felt deeply, and he gave of himself freely.
He is survived by his parents, Marina and Kevin, and by his brothers Brandon, Aaron, and Jarett. He is also survived by his grandparents, Dean and Janice Lang and Gudrun Richey, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. They all love him, are so proud of him, and will miss him. They are thankful for all the richness he added to their lives.
