Paul Irwin Thome Jr. 90, of Maitland, Florida, passed away on October 17, 2012. He was born in Portland, Oregon to Paul & Hilda Thome. Mr. Thome served in the US Army during World War II and received the Bronze Star & Purple Heart for his valor. Survivors include his daughters, Gloria Lochrane, Heidi E.Blakey and Robin Peacock; brother, Mark W. Thome; grandchildren, Courtney Shealy, Tim Blakey, Taylor Lochrane, Karla Blakey, Michele Blakey, Bethany Peacock, Cassie Peacock; great-granddaughter, Ava Shealy. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 19, 2012, 10 am at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Parkinson or Wounded Warrior organizations, In memory of Paul Irwin Thome Jr.
