Pearlie Mae Robinson

Pearlie graduated from Hungerford High School with honors. She excelled at girls' basketball. Then Pearlie attended and graduated from North Carolina College at Durham with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her career with Orange County Public Schools and 4C included teaching elementary students at Phyllis Wheatley, Hungerford, and Dommerich. Also, becoming the director of Our Savior Lutheran Day Care.

She was married to Clyde Robinson Sr. on December 17, 1965. From this union two children were born, Clyde Robinson Jr., and Angela Denise Robinson.

Pearlie was a member of Tangelo Baptist Church and had a passion for reading, crafts, sewing and cooking.

Pearlie was a dynamic woman, dedicated to her family and to the will and purpose of God.

Pearlie leaves to cherish her memory: son, Clyde Robinson, Jr. (Shermain); daughter, Angela D. Robinson; grandchildren, Stephen McCray, Shaina McCray, and Randy Modeste; great grandchildren, Kadyn Roy Anduze, Kamoura Smith, Kelcie McCray and Raleigh Modeste; brother, Dr. James Talbert, Jr. A wonderful and loving host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Pearlie will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Tangelo Baptist Church, 7001 Ravenna Ave, Orlando, FL 32819. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 7001 Ravenna Ave, Orlando, FL 32819. A committal service will occur immediately following the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.
