We really miss you, still in shocked can't believe you were gone, R.I.P.

To the Tang family, I am so sorry to hear about Phil's passing.  I and Phil has been friends for almost 30 years.  He was a loving family man.  Chloe, you should know that you are everything to him - every conversations I had with him, he always mentioned about you proudly.

Phil was kind, friendly, intelligent and a good friend.  I will miss him and the lunches with him. My deepest sympathy to the family.

To mary and Chloe,
Know that Phil loved you and you two where always in the center of everything he did. Phil was a brillant engineer and great friend. When we work together it was always a successful outcome.  NASA lost a great contributor. Phil help advance the US space program during his career.  I respected him in how he handled his profession, how he loved his family and how he treated others. I will miss you, my friend.

Dear Mary and Tang family,
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Phil.  It has been a while since Mary and Nick worked together at Motorola and you brought Phil and your new daughter to our house. We remember how gracious you both were.  We offer our condolences.

Phil was a unique and wonderful person. He always took time to spend with us when we were in town. He made us feel special with his hospitality. I will greatly miss my brother-in-law Phil.

So sorry to hear about Phil's passing as my thoughts and prayers go out to you and Phil.  I've known Phil for the past 25.5 years at NASA.  Phil was a very honorable and respectful person among intelligent.  Will always remember his big laughs and sense of humor.  He was special and will be missed. I am saddened to hear the news of phils passing.I got the chance to get very close to him and he was the nicest and most giving person.I wish I would of kept in touch with him more .my condolences to mary and chloe and to the rest of his family and friends.rest in peace phil.we will meet again.

To the Tangs, I offer our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. Although many years have passed since we last met, the memories of Phil and our group of friends always come with a smile on my face. Our Led Zeppelin soccer team and our yellow and black jerseys, all the basketball games at the Confucious courts, all the places we went to eat and drink in NYC...these fondest memories will live on. I worked with Phil during Spacelab, we worked hard, laughed, and shared a great deal of philosophy. Great guy who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

I am so sad to hear about Phil's passing.  He was a great husband, a great father and a great person.  I am remiss for not visiting enough and spending more time with Phil.  Our time is short on the earth and we should try to stay in touch more often, especially to share great news and work through tough times.  My condolences to the family.  My best memories were in high school and college times with his brother Michael and sister Lily.

It was truly a pleasure and an honor to work with Phil.  He always had a smile on his face and a kind word -- in addition to being an accomplished engineer.    May happy memories be a source of comfort to all who knew him.

Phil was an intelligent, generous and giving individual.  A measure of a man's success is not by how far he got in his career but by the number of friends he had.  Phil truly had many friends. I knew him before he became known as "Dr. Phil" when he worked in the Spacelab Payloads Experiment Integration Fluids Section.  He was always learning and trying to better himself.  I am glad I got to talk to him the day before he left us. We will truly miss you, Phil.  My deepest sympathies to Mary, Chloe, and his entire family.

Phil was a pleasant, friendly person, who was always easy to talk to.  He met my wife in the hospital many years ago and was very grateful for her help.  He made it a point to express his gratitude and ask how things were going.  He always seem to have a smile on his face and very gracious in his demeanor.  He will be missed.  I am sure God will take care of him, and I hope his family is comforted in their memories.

I enjoyed working with Phil over the years.   Our cubicles were in close proximity.   He was always available to talk, answer questions or give his insight.   He was a gentle person.  He will be missed...   My condolences to the family.

Phil was one the nicest and most respectful people I have ever worked with.  He was always willing to help and did so with a smile and a way of making those around him feel better.  KSC and NASA will greatly miss him and our thoughts will always be with Phil and his family.

Phil was a great guy. Always fun to work with and helpful.  A sharp engineer that helped us get NASA's work done.  We will really miss Phil's gentle spirit here at KSC.

I'll miss Phil here at KSC.  He was always a pleasure to be around.  Generous and kind-hearted, always positive and happy.  My sympathies to his family.

To Phil's family: I knew Phil first as a lab instructor at UCF, then as a coworker at NASA, and and finally as a friend and colleague on tiger teams and special projects.  For these many years  I called him friend and I am so very shocked and saddened by the loss.  
And to Phil: You're still teaching me lessons old friend...this one in the realization of how short this life can be.  I'll see you again someday.

Phil was an outstanding man and colleague.  He was always a pleasure to be around.  I will miss him.

I will always remember Phil as a helpful, humble and friendly coworker and human being. Always willing to engage in helping and educating others for the common benefit. I will share our conversations about scale airplane modeling as well!. My thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones.

My condolences to the Tang family.  Philip provided a great amount of support to the NASA mission and I am sure he did the same in his personal life.  While I was not priviledged to meet his family, I truly hope they have some sense of resolve knowing he was a good person and cared for his co-workers... and I am sure much like he did for his family.  -bob w.
