Rachel King

Rachel King, 77, of Apopka, FL passed away on July 27, 2019. Rachel was born on March 11, 1942 to the late Mrs. Dollie Mae (nee Bass) and Mr. Fate Turner in Northampton County, NC. Rachel worked for 39 years with Florida Hospital as a Patient Financial Services Representative. In her free time, she was an avid golfer and loved watching any sport she could. She enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with her family and friends.

Rachel is predeceased by her husband, Larry Wayne King Sr.

She is survived by her son, Ken Copley (Polly Wilson), step-son, Larry Wayne King Jr., daughter, Vicky Arceneaux (Daniel), brother, Kelly Turner, and sister, Rena Mar Turner. Rachel also loved her 8 grandchildren, Josh, Daniel, Christopher, Kyle, Elainena, Devon, Diane and Danielle. Also three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Chandler and Wesley.

A visitation for Rachel will be held on Thursday, August 1 from 6pm-9pm with a service on Friday, August 2 at 10am, followed by an entombment, all at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha FL 34734.
