OBITUARY
Richard Edwin Cella
May 27, 1928 – April 3, 2021
Richard Edwin Cella, age 92, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Richard was born May 27, 1928 in Trenton, New Jersey to the late George and Lucy Cella. He served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was an avid golfer all of his life.
Richard is preceded in death by son Ronald Cella.
Richard is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marie Cella; son Richard E. Cella, Jr. (Jane Wyckoff); daughter Diane Cella; and son Chris Cella.
He is also survived by his grandchildren April, Jacklyne, Jamie, Zachary, Kristine, and Kenny; 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
A private family inurnment will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park at a later date.

I just wanted to express my condolences to the Cella family. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Chris and Diane it's been many years but my memory of your dad was that he was a good man and always treated me kindly.

My trips to Florida were never complete unless I spent time with my Uncle and Aunt. He was always warm and inviting and loved spending time with me. We often traded recipes and when he was well cooked the most amazing meals. I have beautiful memories spent with my Uncle and I will miss him and his stories.
