Robert Dale Elder

Robert "Dale" Elder, 66, of Orlando, Florida passed away on July 5, 2024. He was born at Orange Memorial Hospital near downtown Orlando on December 27, 1957. He was a loving, loyal son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He started his career as a machinist at Wilson's Machine Shop and transitioned to a truck driver where he was able to travel all over the United States. In his spare time Dale loved building model airplanes from scratch and flying them in competitions all over the world including France and Australia. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, cracking silly jokes, and was a collector of many things, including fedoras.

Survivors include his sister Beverly, aunt Janet, cousins Tina & Zackery and many extended family and friends.

A short, informal inurnment will be held on August 3, 2024 at 10:00am at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association, in memory of Dale.
