Robert J. Hannon was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1921. He attended Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia from 1941 to 1944. He attended Villanova University, earning a B.S. in Civil Engineering. From 1944 to 1946 he served in the U.S. Navy, with the rank of Petty officer 3rd class.
He and his wife Martha resided in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Texas, before settling in Florida in 1990.
He is survived by 5 children, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great- grandchildren.
