He spent his early years in the Panama City area, later moving to the Ovideo/Chu-lu-ota area in Seminole County.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Eva Holland, 3 sisters, Betty, Rose, Annie, his brother Bryant, and his son, Robert Jr.
He is survived by his bride of 50 years, Ellen, his daughter, Sheila Renae (Lamar), sons Marcus Alan (Vanessa), and Stephen Joshua (Kym), 10 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his ‘adopted’ daughter, Cyndi.
At one time he owned a worm farm, built his own grape arbor, growing muscadine grapes, and planted many gardens through the years, giving away and selling much more produce than he ever kept for himself.
Bobby was a member of Bible Baptist Church for more than 40 years. He wrote in the front of his Bible, ‘On Aug. 30 I go saved’ that would have been in 1974. He was involved in the bus ministry for many years along with church security. When he could no longer sleep through the night he had a prayer list he would go through. The people of BBC meant a great deal to him.
He is in heaven now with his precious Lord, and if he was to meet you today, he would ask you ‘Are you ready to meet Jesus?’
