Dear Mr. Robert....how sad to learn of your passing just as I remembered the friendship we had at Columbine. You were, and will always be in my memories, a dynamo of compassion, humor, and great talent. We worked together on the Forensics team, and did that wonderful movie together, "'Bine". Robert, you're still with us - such positive energy cannot vanish forever. This photo of you and Tami was taken at my house at the Forensics Christmas party, 1981. God Bless, Sir!

During the most challenging time in my life with breast cancer, Robert extended his hand offering his home while I undertook my treatments. I know that Robert is not alone in Heaven as Saint Philomena was probably the first to welcome him. Robert, you will always be in my heart and prayers.

As so many have said before me, Rob was a dear, loving and heartworn friend. I still cannot believe he is gone, but I know angels are rejoicing that one of their own is home. Rob, I was privileged to call you friend and brother-in-Christ, and how I miss you. As a believer, I do not say goodbye, but, until we meet again.....

Robert, my roommate, you will be missed greatly, both by me and my dog, Ian, that I know you LOVED (and who also loved you in return). May there be Starbucks in heaven and clear skies on KSU football nights to look down from in your new sky box. We will all meet again :-)

Every time I think of Robert I smile. I always remember him dancing and head bobbing to some song no matter where we were. Thank you for making me smile and for being such a great friend. You are free my friend. My condolences to the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
