Robert “Bob” Meyer, passed away March 10, 2016 at the age of 89. Mr. Meyer was a 20 year veteran of the Army Air Corp and the United States Navy. He was very active in the VFW, American Legion and the Korean War Veterans. During Bob’s civilian career, he worked for the Orange City School System as well as at the Peabody Hotel. He is preceded in death by his wife Helen Curtis Meyer. He leaves behind his step-daughter Barbara H. Manning, step-sons; William Curtis, Jr., and Clark Curtis, as well as many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family of Mr. Meyer will receive friends from 12 noon until funeral service time at 1:00, Friday March 18, at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Gotha, FL.
