Ronald Francis Morrison was born on May 25, 1958 in Albany, New York to Harold and Marta Morrison. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved brothers, Harold and Gary.
Ron grew up in upstate NY, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, and Racine, Wisconsin where he attended St. Catherine’s and graduated in the bicentennial year, 1976. Ron was a great ball player playing second base as number 5 and competitively wrestling throughout High school. He later attended University of Wisconsin, Whitewater graduating in ‘81 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. During that time he met and began dating Terri, who would later become his wife.
Ron and Terri married in 1983, later welcoming their two beautiful children, Mindy and John. Beginning with a blind date their love match lasted for nearly 50 years and served as a model for strong, enduring love and shared purpose.
Ron built an incredible career in banking and finance. His career spanning decades with The Associates would take him and his family from St. Louis, Chicago, Laguna Hills, Cleveland, Dallas and then to Toronto to open a new branch office for Citi bank. Ron would later relocate his family to their chosen home in Orlando, bringing his clients solutions and opportunities for growth first by TCF leasing, and ending his distinguished career with 1st Source Bank. He was admired and respected by everyone he worked with. Beloved by his customers, who he was incredibly loyal to, as they were to him. A dear friend to so many, he was cherished and honored to the end.
On the morning of July 6, Ron peacefully entered the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His love for his family and friends endures, a provider, a protector, a loving husband and father, a most dependable friend.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Terri, daughter Mindy, son John and daughter in law Kim, four beautiful grandchildren, his sister Jo-Ann, and a host of extended family and dear friends.
