Last week my mother in law Ruthie left this earth and entered the arms of the lord. I imagine it was a triumphant welcome in Heaven, because this was entrance of one of God’s most precious saints, a life marked by unceasing joy and an unusual selflessness.

She stood beside me daily for 18 years while raising my son..whether I deserved it or not... She showed me Unconditional love.
I was never able to relate to typical mother in law jokes because I had the best mother-in-law anyone could ask for. She was a mom to me. She and I had a fun loving relationship and bonded over daily life.

Today I feel like saying goodbye is not the case as I believe she is with me always and now more than ever. I've gained an angel and I'm humbley honored.
Ruthie was not an average woman.
She was a woman who had a social life so active it would put college students to shame and she was loved by all.

To My dearest ruth, thank you for everything you’ve done. You truly left the world better than you found it. I love you forever.

My deepest condolences to the entire Perez family.
We had you as part of our family for almost 19 years. Even though you were in Florida, you were thought of often. I would message you and told you how much we missed you when you came to visit. I will forever remember your beautiful ivory complication, your soft voice and your humor. I’ll never forget Christmas morning 2011 when we were watching Junior through the kitchen window as he was asking Danny for his Blessing to marry Sophia. We had no clue (unless you knew) we were joking why the serious faces.
Please watch over all of us. I’ll eat bananas for you and you save me a place in Heaven.
I love you Ruth...

I will always remember the times we shared having dinner and all the movies we enjoyed together with your grandchildren and my Joey. We became good friends at church. And had a lot of fun together. Sharing memories of your children growing up. Then getting married and grandchildren. I was so looking forward to going to see you in April this year. We had talked about me moving to Florida. Enjoy your life in heaven my friend. Till me meet again. My prayers are for Ruths daughter Monica and son Jr. There familys and Ruths sisters and family. May God watch over you all. Love 💘 dottie
