Sara Nell Watkins, 97, of Tampa, Florida passed away September 17, 2025. She was born in Pike County, Alabama on March 25, 1928. She was married to Ira Lee Watkins on June 16, 1946 and until his death on March 25, 2000.
Sara had a career in administration for Watkins Construction, Auburn University and Valencia College. She was a member of the Baptist Church and had a passion for her family.
She is survived by son Robert Watkins (Nancy) of Tampa, grandchildren Audrey Murdaugh (Robert), Richard Watkins (Marsha), Michael Watkins, Leah Bass (Owen), Ryan Watkins (Ahvry), Rachel Watkins and Sarah Watkins, six great grandchildren, and sister Carole Teague (Buddy).
She joins her beloved husband Ira in the Kingdom of Heaven with her sons Ronald Lee and Randall Keith, who pre-deceased her.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:30pm on September 27, at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida.
