To know her was to love her.  God must have given Shirlee and sister Charlotte special gifts of kindness and understanding for the wonderful way they take care of Annie. Annie must be broken-hearted. May God hold all of the family in the palm of His Hand during this time.  Shirlee was a role model for many of us.. She will be missed!

I am so sorry to hear about Shirlee's passing, but I do know that she had a great faith and a true testimony to Jesus. I know she is rejoicing again to be with her very missed husband and son.  I will miss visiting with Shirlee at Joann's, she became a good friend to me and many others. I will never forget such a wonderful lady. God Bless you all in this time of sorrow.

Shirlee was such an awesome woman of God.  Every trial that came her way, she dealt with it with grace and amazing faith.  She finally made it home and what a welcome I'm sure she received.  She will definitely be missed.  Love and prayers to all the family!

Shirlee was such a treasure, I had the pleasure knowing her.  She always had a smile for you and always there to remind you that God loved us. She was such a wonderful person and greatly touched my daughters heart. Our daughter never wanted to move up in Sunday School, because she never wanted to leave Miss Shirlee.  She will be truly missed.

Shirlee was a wonderful, caring woman who lived her faith every day in her actions and words. She inspired me in all our conversations. She will always be in my prayers. I will miss her tremendously.

Shirlee has been missed during the past few months and now will be missed so much.   She was a JOY to work with and she was always willing to help where needed when we had events in her office. Shirlee was a "go to" person, and not only for work. I enjoyed her company and our conversation. She had engineer in her... with a thoughtful solution to a problem, or at least some suggested options, always expressed with a warm heart, and grounded with a sense of humor.
