Shirley V. Hopkins, 83, of Davenport, Florida passed away on January 13, 2015. She was born on November 30, 1931 in Schenectady, New York to the late Edward John and Laura (Santspree) Austin. Shirley was a nun for 25 years and then left the order to persue a career as a registered nurse. She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin. Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Allen and son, Michael Hopkins and four grandchildren.
