

Shirley Stoner, 81, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2021. She was born at the family home in Utica, MS on January 5, 1940 to Willie F. and Mary Ethel Beasley and graduated from Utica High School. She was married to William “Bill” Stoner on December 24, 1959 who preceded her in death in 2006. Shirley was known and loved by many for her quick wit and love for family. She welcomed new friends with open arms, offered lots of snacks to their children, and held all of their babies. Many knew, loved, and called her “Grandma.”
Shirley is survived by children Lisa (Paul) Seigneurie of Floral City, FL, Kimberly (Blaz) Bravar of Windermere, FL, and William “Joe” (Carroll) Stoner, Jr. of Clermont, FL; Grandchildren Katie (Michael) Brugal of Windermere, FL, Corey (Ashley) Seigneurie of Windermere, FL, Joey (Brittani) Seigneurie of Inverness, FL, and Anna and Alee Stoner of Clermont, FL; Great Grandchildren Nora, Blaz, and Dean Brugal, Waylen and Reagan Seigneurie, and , Greyson Thomas (deceased) and William “Bill” Seigneurie; Sisters Mazie McDonner of Baton Rouge, LA, Kay Newman of Florence, MS, and brother Richard Beasley of Utica, MS; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
