Shirley O. West, 80, of Clermont, FL passed away on November 4, 2017. She was born on July 29, 1937 in Sylvester, GA to the late Preston McDonald and Jewel Davis. Shirley, or “Fred” as she was lovingly called, was a member of the Southern Baptist Church and the Orange County Sportsman’s Association. She enjoyed fishing, riding her jet ski, gambling, the lakes, and most importantly her family.
Shirley is survived by: her loving husband, Oswald; daughters, Debbie Gillespie, Cynthia A. Davidson, and Teresa Bass; brothers, Rex McDonald and Wendall McDonald; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, FL on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 1:00pm, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm.
