Sofia attended the University of Havana in pursuit of a law degree.
She was married to Joseph Anthony Besiana on January 1957.
Sofia had a career in medical billing for Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Fl for over 40 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana Schrader.
A visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, located at 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, on December 6, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
Following the visitation, a committal service will take place at the same location from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
