Sri Srinivasan

It is with profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Sri Srinivasan on August 3, 2026.

Born in India on September 27, 1946, Sri came to the United States to pursue higher education at Texas Tech University, where he earned two master’s degrees in engineering. He later moved to Los Angeles, where his beloved son, Sanjay, was born, before eventually settling in Orlando and making Central Florida his home.

Sri lived a life defined by integrity, generosity, humility, and an unwavering devotion to his family, faith, and community. He was a beloved husband to his wife, Jaya; a proud and loving father to his son, Sanjay; and a devoted grandfather to his cherished grandson, Sai, who brought him immeasurable joy.

A visionary and serial entrepreneur, Sri built and owned businesses across a wide range of industries, including merchandise, retail, aviation, medical supplies, entertainment, and restaurants. His entrepreneurial spirit reflected his courage, determination, and remarkable ability to recognize opportunity and turn ideas into lasting ventures.

Sri also helped and supported countless family members as they established new lives in the United States. His generosity extended far beyond financial support; he offered guidance, encouragement, opportunity, and a helping hand whenever it was needed. Through his selflessness, he opened doors for others and helped generations of family members build brighter futures.

Sri was a respected and admired leader within Central Florida’s Indian community. His vision, dedication, and selfless service helped lay the foundation for a stronger and more connected community for generations to come. Among his most enduring contributions was his instrumental role in helping build the Hindu temple in Casselberry, creating a spiritual home that has touched countless lives and continues to serve as a place of worship, culture, and community.

Those who knew Sri will remember his thoughtful guidance and willingness to help anyone in need. He believed in leading by example, treating everyone with kindness and respect, and leaving every place better than he found it. His wisdom, compassion, and steadfast character earned him the admiration of friends, neighbors, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

While his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his legacy lives on through his family, the businesses he built, the community he helped strengthen, and the countless lives he influenced through his generosity, leadership, and faith.

Sri’s life was a testament to the values he held dear: family, service, humility, perseverance, and devotion. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and lovingly honored by all whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on August 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Gathering will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on August 7, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

Witness cremation will follow at 10:00 am also at Woodlawn.
