February 12, 1942 – March 15, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Stephen Michael Myskowski of Orlando, Florida. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who peacefully left this world on March 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Stephen met his true love and soul mate Linda Myskowski at a basketball game in 1957, where he was playing for Central Catholic High School. Together they built a beautiful life celebrating 63 years of marriage filled with determination, dedication, and a whole lot of love. A proud graduate of the University of Massachusetts, he found great success as a Chief Financial Officer in the Aerospace industry, working for multiple companies throughout the years.
After a prosperous career, Stephen and Linda spent the past 20 years enjoying retirement in Orlando, Florida, cherishing time with family and embracing life’s simple joys. Known for his wisdom, kindness, and unwavering love for his family, he was affectionately called “Papa” by those who adored him.
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife Linda, and his children: Cherie Benzinger (husband Paul), Lisa Foster (Fiance Mark), Steve Myskowski, and Mike Myskowski. He was a proud grandfather to Joey Foster (wife Joy), Tommy Foster (wife Tiffany), Bobby Foster (wife Stephanie), Paul Benzinger, and Jason Benzinger (wife Klansey). His legacy continues through his cherished great grandchildren: Gabe, Rowynn, Noah, Larkynn, and Oaklynn.
Stephen’s warmth, wisdom, and love will be missed deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us, his glorious spirit will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.
A celebration of his life will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home to honor his memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in his name, and his grandson Bobby Foster’s name.
Rest in paradise, Papa. Fly freely with Angels. You will forever remain in our hearts. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away” Revelation 21:4
