I love and miss you!  Today has been one year since you went to Heaven.

Aunt Sybil made this world a brighter place. Her undying love for her family and friends, her faithfulness.  Her gentle voice of wisdom, encouragement, consolement, and belly aching humor was for me many times, the wind beneath my wings. And now I feel like a bird torn from the nest,and forced to fly solo. But I will cherish the love she shared and remember her always as a great role model, mother and friend.

Aunt Sybil was a very special lady. I didn't have many experiences with her, but the ones I had were precious and won't be forgotten. Such a sweet and lovable lady, so much like her sister Ivy, but had a pleasantly humorous side that always had everyone smiling

I can clearly remember when I relocated to Florida in the summer of 1993. I met Mrs. Sybil Murphy in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She immediately made an impact on me. I remember her humor, her light-hearted personality. She was very helpful to me to get up and going as a new resident. I will always remember her delicious cooking. She even gave me a new name.
May her soul rest in eternal peace. Indeed I look forward to meeting her in the sweet by and by.

A mother's love is like an island
In life's ocean vast and wide,
A peaceful, quiet shelter
From the restless, rising tide.

And we seek protection there
When the waves of tribulation
Seem to drown us in despair.

From the struggle and the tension

And her smile is like the sunshine
Breaking through a threatening cloud.

A mother's love is like a beacon
Burning bright with Faith and Prayer
And through the changing scenes of life
We can find a haven there....

For a mother's love is fashioned
After God's enduring love,
It is endless and unfailing
Like the love of Him above.

For God knew in His great wisdom
That he couldn't be everywhere,
So he put His little Children
In a loving mother's care.

Maw, Thank you for all the encouragement, laughter, joy, and wisdom.Thank you for teaching and leading me to the Lord. You gave me strong values; you taught me about Faith, to serve others, to be kind, and perserverance. Thank you Maw for everything.

May God Bless our family.We will always remember Aunt Syb's hearty laugh and the way she brought joy to everyone around her.

May the Lord bless her beautiful soul until we all meet again.
