Taciano studied medicine at the Manila Central University and came to the United States in 1957. He furthered his education and became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He practiced general surgery and was able to make a positive impact on the lives of many people.
In 1976, Taciano met Belen Masongsong and they were married on October 8, 1977. The following year, their daughter Melissa was born.
Taciano was a very active member of the Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo) in the Locales of Philadelphia and South Jersey. He was a Head Deacon for over 26 years and loved gardening the chapel grounds. He remained strong in the faith long after he and his wife moved to Kissimmee, FL in November 2005.
Taciano is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and many friends and loved ones who have fond memories of him.
