Tanja Rae Eggeling

Tanja Rae Eggeling was born September 7, 1972 at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orlando Florida. Her Parents were Paul C. Eggeling and Erika Gerulat (Eggeling). Tanja passed peacefully to her rest after a four year battle with cancer on March 28, 2014 in Windermere, Florida with her loving family and fiancé by her side.

Tanja was the younger of two children. She attended St. Andrews Catholic School, Robinswood Junior High School, and graduated from West Orange High School in Winter Garden Florida.

Tanja had a passion for the food and beverage and hospitality industry in which she built a colorful career while working as a Server, Bartender and Manager over a period of fifteen years.

In September of 2012, Tanja and Mike Pimenta became engaged aboard a cruise to the Bahamas. During their engagement Mike and Tanja enjoyed frequent trips to the beach for fishing and camping.

Tanja enjoyed sharing her time with her animals specifically Simba her Chow and K.O. her cat.

Tanja was consistently a faithful friend to many and truly enjoyed spending time with them.

Tanja had an unwavering faith in God and enjoyed the fellowship of Gods families.

The strength and strong character of Tanja was reflected in her caring ways throughout her life. She cherished her family and was devoted to them beyond measure. Every person that Tanja touched inspired and continues to be forever grateful for having known her and her spirit. She will forever be an inspiration in everyone’s life.

Tanja had a life’s passion for Stephen King novels and which she has a complete collection. She also had a passion for music which included Hard Rock and Country Music. Tanja was a sports enthusiast whose favorite football team was the Miami Dolphins. Her favorite baseball team was the Boston Red Sox and her favorite golfer was her father Paul Eggeling.

Tanja was preceded in death by her grandparents Alvin & Florence Eggeling, Uncles Wolfgang Flechtner, Haust Flectner, Heinz Flectner and her aunt Inge Polc. She is survived by her father Paul C. Eggeling and his wife Paula Eggeling, her mother Erika Gerulat and her husband Julius Gerulat, her sister Diana Meyers-Sheehan and her husband David Sheehan, her nephew Julian Meyers, and her loving fiance Michael Pimenta along with many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
