Tejindar’s legacy is not only found in the positions he held or the honors he received, but in the lives he touched and the example he set for his family and all those who knew him.
Tejindar had very humble beginnings from a village with no electricity in the State of Punjab in India. After immigrating to the United States, Tejindar pursued his dreams through hard work and determination. He earned his Juris Doctorate. His dedication and integrity ultimately led to his appointment as a Magistrate Judge, a position that reflected the respect he had earned through his character, knowledge, and commitment to fairness.
His accomplishments were especially meaningful because he never sought recognition for himself. Instead, he viewed his success as an opportunity to serve others and to help build a better future for his family.
Tejindar was a kind and gentle soul whose heart was filled with pure love. He had a quiet warmth about him that made people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. He was generous not only with what he had, but with his time, his patience, his stories, and, most of all, his love. His gentle spirit, kindness, and unwavering love touched the lives of many.
One of Tejindar's greatest joys was sharing the story of his life. He would tell stories about his time in the Indian Air Force, and the many adventures that followed.
He took great pride in the life he and his wife created from their journey together that took them from India to England, where their daughter, Jyoti, was born, then to Canada, and eventually to the United States, where they made their home
His stories were more than memories—they were a gift to his family. Through them, he passed down his history, his experiences, his humor, and the lessons he had learned along the way.
His presence brought comfort, his stories brought smiles, and his love brought people together.
